The party, tired from the last few serious encounters retires to the tower room where they had rested previously. Barricaded in and ready for possible assault, the night passes with strange quiet. In the morning there is food laid out in the adjoining room as before. Puzzling over the lack of an assault during the night, you all prepare yourselvs for what you beleive will be your final conflict with Strahd.
